Pass Plus is a practical training course that takes at least 6 hours and is for drivers to improve their skills and drive more safely in all weather and road conditions.
It can be taken at any time after passing the driving test although it should be most useful to new drivers in the year after passing their test.
You’ll need a Pass Plus registered approved driving instructor (ADI) to teach you.(all skillz2drive instructors are registered)
It may help you get a car insurance discount if you successfully complete the course with a selected amount of insurance companys, your driving instuctor can help with this.

What will my driving instructor teach me on my pass plus course?
1. Motorway driving and dual carriage way driving.( Use of mirrors, blind spots, changing lanes, entering and exiting sliproads, signal timing.)
2. country driving. (sharp bends, hidden junctions unexpected hazards)
3. Night time driving. (use of lights, observations)
4. city driving.( this will be an extension from your driving lessons in a new town)
5, All weather driving (rain,snow,ice)
pass plus is here to help you improve your driving skills in the areas that you may not have encountered while learning to drive with your instructor.
your pass plus driving course will be arranged for you after you have completed you driving test, (idealy within 4 weeks of passing your test) by your skillz2drive driving instructor, when completed you will not have to sit a test but you will be graded by your driving instructor, and then be awarded your pass plus certificate.
